Pay for guaranteed reservation ?

If we're on the dining plan but we're scheduling Akershus, do they refund your credit card? How is this handled?

We had a similar situation.

When we booked HDDR we had to prepay full price but expected to have a Tables in Wonderland card by the time we visited. (We ended up not getting one) However, the CM on the phone told me they would refund the difference to our CC when we showed them the TiW card and the restaurant.

Akershus is not a prepayment restaurant. All you are doing is leaving the credit card as a guarantee in case you don't show up for the reservation. If you don't cancel and don't show up, you'll be charged $10 per person.
