Pay as you go micro sim for IPad?

Coming to the USA for a month and we were going to bring the laptop as we have to be online daily to check emails etc for business. We are staying in New York (where our hotel does not have free wifi) and also at AKL and BC at Disney World (no wifi at AKL and not sure about in the rooms at BC).

So after thinking the very expensive hotel daily charges for the internet we would get one of the pay as you go mobile broadband (virginmobile I think it is).

So I am not thinking of taking the IPad. But am not sure what's available in the USA with regards to micro sim's and pay as you go. We don't want to sign up for any contract as we are only there for a month, so just want a months internet access. You can get micro sims from most of the telecommunications companies here in Australia for it so wondered who is the best to go with in the USA and if there are any pay as you go sims available in the USA.

Would love any advise or info from anybody on the pay as you go for ipad and how to go about setting it up.

Thanks (I'm not very technical either really need to be able to put the sim in and it works after getting it from the shop)
