Thanks so much. I think your good vibes and prayers pushed me over the edge. I sat and LOOKED and LOOKED and BAM, I found that dress and just fell in love with it. I can't wait to get off work so I can go to the bank and go home and order my dress!!!!

Got word this am that the dress is NOT available in the size I ordered. She (the owner of the company) is checking to see if they can get one special ordered in time. Only other suggestion was to check with my seamstress to see if getting the next size up would be capable of being altered. It's silk and hand sewn beading, so I am thinking if this one isn't available, it's back to the drawing board!!!! HELP!!!! I don't want to start again when I finally found something!

Thanks Sandy, praying they are able to get it. I never thought I would have that 'feeling' that others talk about, but when I saw that dress, I FELT it!!! I WANT THAT DRESS (sorry for the rant!!!!)

The $99 sale at David's was what was in stock at the time, and I just really lucked out. I tried on a few, and my thought was to do something really simple, and not a gown, but I figured I couldn't get a nice dress for less than $99, so I might as well just buy the gown.

As for my hair, the consierge made certain the appointment times were what I needed, along with my "matron of honor". I told her (Cathy) that we wanted flowers in our hair that matched the flowers in the bouquets, and they took a stem of orchids (has about 7-9 flowers per stem) and used them. I don't think I would worry about the length of your hair, they can put up just about anything today with the sheer amount of spray they use...

How much did they charge you for your hair??? I am getting married on the Disney Wonder the cruise leaves on August 24th and we get married on the 25th wooohooo 3 months and like 2 weeks i was just wondering how much hair costs for them to put it up in the planning package its not really clear.

I hope all is going well with the dress. I bought my wedding dress 15 years ago( hard to believe we've been married that long ) straight off the rack because it was discontinued therefore alot cheaper. It was 2 sizes too big and they were able to alter it to fit me. Sad thing is that the original size of the dress is what I would wear now.

I am sure they will be able to alter it for you. When your all skinny from working out you'll need to get it altered anyhow.

I'm sure that they'll be able to fix your dress without any problem. Three of my bridesmaids dresses were huge on them and they looked great after they were taken in

Ok, I heard from the owner of the company and she said they were anticipating a shipment the end of July, but she encouraged me to keep looking for 'the' dress. If I find something else, just cancel my order. I am going to go looking this weekend. I inquried about one online and they said 10-12 weeks (I am at the 15 week mark and don't want to get much closer without finding THE one. I'll update after this weekend.
