Thats interesting. I've also been waiting to hear something on this case. DH and some pretty serious finance problems and some pretty bad fights when we were first married but I just can't imagine. I wonder if she had any mental problems before this. Any signs that she could snap like that.

I notice that you guys are both from the AL/TN area. I grew up in Huntsville, AL, and a lot of high school friends and my brother go to school in Henderson, TN.

Interesting. I heard rumblings about another woman and double-life on the pastor's part, but that was not from a news source. I heard ladies gossiping on that and I wondered why I'd missed that in the news. At the time, I was out of the loop and not tracking current events myself, so I just wondered about it.

Any way you look at it, it's a terrible tragedy.

Its interesting that she got sucked into that Nigerian scam. There are people who have lost their life savings in that. I guess if one were fragile that could push them over the edge.

I'm not sure this will help her much. It makes me feel so badly for her dh. The poor man died because his wife would rather kill him than admit her financial mistakes to him. Of course maybe the jury will feel like he was such a monster that she had reason to fear him or something but that's not my gut feeling.

She shot him in the back, too, and then left him to die alone -- that is not going to be easy for the defense to explain away. I can't even imagine what would cause a person to think of doing, let alone do, such a thing as she did.

Sounds like there was also some emotional abuse that he was causing her. I guess that could have pushed her over the edge.

It is a tragic case, for the husband and children. Strange too. Seems like there would be much more to it. It will be interesting to see it all unfold.
