The one thing I saw missing from posted 2010 menus for Mama Melrose was pasta. Spaghetti or Spaghetti with meatballs would be just fine. Do they offer that and any idea the price?

Many thanks...

No, I don't recall ever seeing that on the menu there. They do have chicken parm that comes with spaghetti. DH has also gotten the penne and was able to add sausage to it.

Never heard "pasta" used to mean just spaghetti...around here pasta refers to any Italian style noodle-like product, lol. There are lots of pasta dishes on Mama Melrose menu.

Anyway, the latest Mama Melrose menu I've seen had spaghetti served with two dishes --the Spaghetti Fra Diavolo (spaghetti with seafood) and the Chicken Parm. is served over spaghetti. The other pasta dishes included penne pasta, pipette pasta, ravioli, and rigatoni pasta. I don't recall ever seeing just meatballs/spaghetti on the Mama Melrose menu and we've been going there for several years. I think Tony's in MK has the spag/meatballs.

Here's the link to Disney website menu for Mama Melrose:

they will mix and match for you. we do it all the time. problem is there are no meatballs that we are aware of and we have eaten there every year for 10 or 12 years.............get the warm chocolate truffel cake for dessert.

Spaghetti was just an example.... the kids would be happy with any "just pasta" dish (with or without the meatballs).

My son ordered spaghetti off the kids menu. It came with a choice of sauces. I think the options were plain tomato, meat sauce and alfredo. My son doesn't like sauce, so the chef made him spaghetti tossed in olive oil with loads of shredded parmesan cheese on top.

My kids are 14.... that won't work!

Sure wish it would!

I'm sure they can make any sauce you ask for (that is listed on their menu) and match it with the pasta shape you want. Most Italian restaurants do that.

I had some amazing penne a la vodka (penne with vodka sauce) there in September and I'd think they could do it with marinara instead of you wanted.

If you aren't on the dining plan, there's no rule that prevents anyone over the age of 9 from ordering off the kids menu. Just ask for kids menus for them before you're seated. The kids meals come with an appetizer, beverage and dessert. The pasta portion is generous, but if your kids are really big eaters, you could order a flatbread or an appetizer off the regular menu to supplement their meals.

Just wanted to comment that our family absolutely loves Mama Melrose. We make it a priority to dine there every trip.

Best waiter we ever had at any restaurant in WDW or out, served us during our '08 trip. He looked and sounded a lot like Jeremy Irons (the actor). We missed him in '09. Hope he still works there. Never caught his name.
