Hi. We will be staying at the WL for the first time in August. Can't wait. :Pinkbounc Is it very difficult to get a lounge chair by the pool? We stayed at the Beach Club the last time and if you weren't there when they opened you were out of luck getting a chair. This is a layed back, relaxing trip for us and I would rather not have to set the alarm for 6am to get a chair by the pool. Also is there a "quiet" pool?

There is a quiet pool, not too far from the main pool. Well, I was at the WL Thnaksgiving weekend -no problem getting a chair. I love the WL! We just got back from the Bc and while it was wonderful, it wasn't a $100 more a night wonderful. We had just as much fun-if not more- at WL.

I was at the WL this past May and I loved it. To be honest, I was a little disappointed by the pool. I thought it was a little small, but my kids loved it and had fun. In regards to the lounge chairs, I think like any resort it is hard to get chairs. We tended to only use the pool in the afternoon or night. When we would get there, all the chairs would be taken with towels and no one there. While my kids and DH swam, I walked around and was always able to find one chair. The longer we stayed the more the chairs would empty. It does bug me to see 5 chairs being held with towels and eventually the family would get out of the pool, take the towels and leave. Do kids really need a lounge chair?
Yes, there is a quiet pool which was like 10-15 degrees warmer (my kids liked this one at night). Never had trouble getting a chair here.
Have fun, it's a great resort!

SUSY I haven't stayed at WL yet but I was starting to think I missed something at the Beach Club. I didn't think it was worth the $200+ per night we paid either.

Keep in mind that is mainly becase the WL is a small resort (in terms of the number of rooms it has). Bigger resort = bigger pool = more people to share the pool and deck chairs with.

Hi, we were there last Sept. The resort was pretty busy. We swam every afternoon. We were always able to find a chair.

We also swam quite a bit in the quiet pool. It truely was quiet. Tons of empty chairs there. Our room overlooked this pool and it was never busy.

If you don't want to swim & just want to relax, head down to the beach. Lots of nice chairs. The view is so pretty. A perfect spot to read a book.
