There have been many questions of how long it takes to walk from the onsite hotel to the parks.

(This thread on page 27, used to be a sticky.)

It does not include SFalls as that hotel was not up at the time Bluer101 created the thread.

Maybe this info will be helpful to you.

Buer101 is a regular at the hotels and parks.
He spent one day walking the paths from hotel to parks in order to answer questions we had at the time.

The following is from Bluer101's post:

Here is all the answers here no more guessing. :thumbsup2

Good info. Deserves a boost. :thumbsup2

I was a bit worried about the walk from the CBBR shuttle bus stops to the parks. Still looks ridiculously long though but I'll just have to see when I get down there.

It's not too bad. I'm guessing 15 minutes give or take. I did it once just to see how long it was. You can always cross the street to SF and take the water taxi.

Does it make a difference walking to SF to take the water taxi though, as oppose to just using the bus and walking from the dropoff point? That's what I'm wondering.

Many walk from Cbay to SFalls and take the water taxi from there

Flip a coin to see which gets you to the parks faster

Bus direct from Cbay or the walk then water taxi from Sfalls

Probably not. But, taking the water taxi is a nice relaxing ride that keeps you in the "bubble." Either way will probably be about the same amount of time. Do it both ways, it's kind of cool to enter from the garage side into citywalk.

This is wonderful information. It helps to keep in mind that a mile is 5280 feet.

And that the average human walking speed is roughly 3 miles per hour ... although I generally walk between 4 and 5 miles per hour, personally.
