Is there any sort of data or website that tracks historical prices for the price per point of direct sales? For instance, right now RIV is 217 pp. What was it when it first opened?

Would love to see how those prices fluctuate over time. Just curious if anyone has access to that info. Thanks!

I am pretty sure it was $186 when it opened with lots of discounts for various point levels.

It's difficult to put in any useful context because there have ALWAYS been discounts available for every actively-selling resort. The discounts change every 3-4 months and can vary greatly. Prices are different for first-time buyers vs current owners. Sometimes they do short term bonus deals, like when Grand Floridian sales reopened last year and the best prices were only available for about 4 weeks.

I think some resorts like poly and gfv 1 had special member pricing regardless of # purchased plus the extra discount if you purchased more. Was for a couple weeks and then the price per point increased when offered to everyone. Not everyone wants to add on the 100 plus to get any sort of discount. The discount on under 100 for existing members but only for a short window gives that extra incentive to act now.
