I've arranged a meet at RFC once a while back ago and they did take reservations. We even did them online. You might want to check their webpage to see if they still do that.

I wish I could make but it IS mother's day and we already have plans for that day. Sorry

Janette--thanks SO MUCH! I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I have only taken a cab once before (it was in Italy, so it was quite an experience anyhow), and I am not really sure how the logistics of getting one work. Now that I hear how much it would cost, a ride would be WONDERFUL! I'm really excited. This is my first business trip (and my first trip anywhere alone), so I think a DIS meet will really help put me at ease.

While Mandy and I would love to attend another Dallas meet (we haven't seen our Dallas DIS friends in quite a while), I'm afraid that there is no way to cancel our Mother's Day plans. The resulting sulk from my mother would be industrial strength and long lasting.

Howdy, This is my first post, though I've been lurking for months. A dis meet close to home was the final boost to register. Is there still space available for a newbie? We love Rainforest Cafe. What a great way to spend Mother's Day. (I hope I did this right).

My DS is 11, almost 12, (& loves Yu-gi-oh), and my DD is 8. I'll be making some lime-green nametags today. This is like bringing a piece of the magic to Texas! Can we pretend that AK is just outside the door!
