Passporter Deluxe vs. Passporter question

I always have to get a Passporter for all of our trips. I love the folders, and writing down notes of our trip in them. I skim through the front, but I am mostly buying them for the folders. We are going in April and in July and I was wondering if I should order the Passporter Deluxe. I need 5 folders for April and 10 for July, how many come with it? Are there any other differences? I just thought it would be less then buying 2 Passporters (which I have done for the past 2 years, buying 2 a year, don't know why it took me this long to wise up )

I ordered the Deluxe this year. I like it better because I can arrange it the way I want. I put the folders in front. Took out all of the other resort information except the CBR, which is where we are staying. I also printed journal pages from the Passporter website that fit in the PP after you cut them down (they also have the "holes" printed on them so I knew where to punch)>

I think you might be able to order extra pocket pages for the Deluxe Edition. That would make it less expensive, esp. since you really only want the pockets, not the whole book. I broke down and ordered the Deluxe this year... I figure I can re-order the refill each year, and it will end up costing less. Plus, with the Deluxe, you can add the updated info securely by printing it out and punching holes to add it to the binder.

If you are buying a new one every year, I would strongly suggest getting the deluxe. Mine has a total of 14 pockets, which is one less than you need.
The pockets that it has include:
Our Journey
Our Rooms
Our (1-10th) day
Our Magic Memories
And one blank pocket.

You could buy the deluxe kit for 33.66 and then the 5 pocket set for 2.50 and it would still come out cheaper than buying two spiral bound books, cheaper by $1.16! Then starting next year, you will only have to buy the one refill kit and the one extra set of pockets!

Thank you for the replies. I think I am going to order the deluxe, I have been going to and calling our Barnes & Noble store hoping they would have them, but no such luck. I did know about the delays in shipping, but now I am getting closer and have more papers that I keep losing.

I have read in the past if you have a Passporter from previous year, you can register and get 30% off, is that the case for deluxe as well.

Yes. You can get a discount if you're a previous customer. Don't remember if I had to register mine or not (I did though) to get it. They're very responsive if you e-mail them with questions.

Just got my Deluxe in the mail Thursday. The leather binder is very nice and has pockets for cards,tickets,maps! Now I only have to order the refill kits! Nice! I also got a 30% discount!

Just an FYI, I ordered the deluxe and 2 5 pocket sets for 2 additional short trips thinking it was 5 pockets PLUS the "journey, room, etc." pockets. It isn't. It is only 5 pockets that you can write in the number of each day of your trip (i.e. Our___________ Day). I wanted one complete set for each trip & Dave said I'd need to order the 14 pocket set which is actually days 1-10 plus the "journey, room, etc" pockets. So if you want those special pockets, then you need to order the 14 pocket set not the 5 pocket set.
