I have a question: I have not updated my passport and it has my maiden name on it. Would it be acceptable to bring the passport and a certified copy of our marriage license to show as ID? Thanks.

How soon are you cruising? I had to have my new name added to my passport this past summer and it only took a couple of weeks to get it back in the mail. All they do is type in your new name in the back page of the passport, and there's no charge for this.

If you are cruising soon, then I'd call DCL to ask them about bringing it and your marriage certificate. Do you have your birth certificate and valid photo driver's license? If so, then those 2 documents would be fine, in place of the passport. Personally, I like having my passport with me when we travel.

Would it be possible just to bring a passport with DW's maiden name and her Driver's License with her current legal name in order to travel on DCL. The name on the cruise docs is the same as the name on her DL.

That is what I did for our honeymoon (WDW and DCL) however I brought the original of our marriage certificate. I have traveled twice more in the last three years (once more into the States and once here in Canada). I am also going to do this in Feb to go to Las Vegas. Nobody has ever questioned it or even looked at the marriage license.
