Passport Wait Time?

Has anyone applied/renewed their passports lately?? How long is the wait these days? I am in Edmonton, so I will be dropping it off directly at the passport office. Any info?

My mom got hers it in less than 2 weeks. They give you a reciept when you go to the office.
If you are going to the office do it online first. This saved me lots of time in the office when I did mine in December.

my aunt applied about 2 weeks ago and she recieved it 4 days later. They did say there was not a back log as ususal.

I sent mine away July 24th and got it back Aug 1st.

We went into the Passport Office and were told less than 8 days! YaY!
