Passing tickets onto other family members via My Disney App

I have been trying to send our Disney tickets, which are currently all in my account, to the other members of our party.
The instructions say to just log into any other My Disney account and then either scan or type in the ticket number from my account. But either way it always says it is invalid.

I have linked the other member accounts to my account. But that just passes over My ticket to them not the one I’ve assigned to them!


Any ideas. I have tried everything!

Why would it give them my ticket and not the one assigned to them?
Did you create a profile on your MDE for each person and assign a ticket to that profile? But they also have their own MDE? If so, you probably need to get the profiles linked — essentially telling MDE “this is the same person.” Hopefully someone can walk you through that; if not you’ll have to call.

I don’t understand what you mean by the bolded. Have you already assigned the ticket to them in MDE? I don’t understand what else you're trying to do.
 
This is my MDE. I have 2 AP vouchers in a dummy account. They show as Dummy account AP, Dummy account AP. There is a “Ressign Pass” button to click when I want to reassign the pass to my self or a family member.

If you have multiple tickets all in your name, you should be able to swipe thru & see each ticket individually, but they’ll be in your name. For each ticket, click that reassign ticket button & pick who you reassign it to from your friends & family list. Once each ticket is reassigned, that button is no longer clickable.

Edit to add: once you have assigned the ticket to someone, the link isn’t clickable to you. That person can reassign the ticket thru their own MDE account. And once the ticket is in their MDE, it will work with their magic band. So it doesn’t matter which ticket gets transferred to which person.
