Passholders and Counter Service Dining Plan?

Will Passholders staying at WDW with a Passholder Code be allowed to purchase the new Counter Service Dining Plan or is it limited to Magic Your Way Packages?Thanks.

Yes. There are some posters on this board who have already purchased it.

And you do have to buy an annual passholder package to get dining. This is the same as the regular package except that it does not include tickets.

Thanks! Pardon my lack of knowledge,but I have NO experience with the DDP.Are you allowed to use a Passholder room-only discount code with the Annual Passholder Package or are you required to pay rack-rate?

I understand it is possible to apply an annual passholder discount to a room/dining package - if the package AND the discount are available for the dates and resort you want.

Your reservation would be a package and it would be subject to the same deposit, change and cancellation rules as other packages.

I don't even use the DDP and I have never booked one of these packages, so I am not sure what the change rules are. But I believe the deposit is $200, and there is a penalty for cancelling the reservation within 45 days of arrival.
