"Rustle up some family fun when you stay in the middle of the magic with a special Passholder package during a time of year both parks are brimming with holiday cheer.
With this offer, Passholders can enjoy:
  • Savings of up to 25% on rooms at a Disneyland Resort Hotel most Sunday through Thursday nights from October 23 through December 22, 2016
  • One (1) Disney FASTPASS ticket for each person in your party
  • One (1) $20 Disneyland Resort Dining Certificate per reservation

Plus, each day during your stay at a Disneyland Resort hotel, you’ll receive special benefits and a host of welcoming amenities with distinctive Disney touches.

Book from September 7 through December 22, 2016."

It's still too pricey for me, but may be good for those of you who are visiting during those dates.

It sure would be nice if this is offered next fall when we have our APs and they're about to expire. I'm not big on spending tons of cash at Disney hotels in Anaheim, but 25% off, an extra $20 and a FP....might be worth a 3 night trip next fall. If they offer it.

OMG thank you for posting this! I just saved another $70 on on our club level room at the PPH. I booked at a normal rate, applied the Disney Visa promo rate, called back today and applied this rate and we are now have a $135 resort credit, plus the FPs, and the $20 dining certificate. Thank you!!!!

I couldn't find availability for our dates in Dec. I have the Visa promo right now; do you think if I called I could switch to the AP deal?

. Thanks for posting this.
I assume the special benefits are the EE. I wonder what the "host of welcoming amenities with distinctive Disney touches" are.

To answer my own question, they said no. You can't switch one deal for the other, even though the room is the same price. If there is no availability for the AP promo showing, they can't switch you over to that promo from the Disney Visa offer.

I called and switched from the Visa to the AP so I'm thinking it must have been available. Then I booked our two additional nights online.

Does anyone know if the passholder discount could be applied if I haven't activated my annual pass yet?! We live up north and wont be activating it until we get there!

Probably not, unless you have an AP account login.

And boo, no discounts for the dates we need :(

I'll be watching to see if there is a general offer...since this one is slightly better than the visa one I currently have booked.

Don't suppose my completely useless WDW annual pass qualifies, huh? ;)

I see several people saying "I have a resort credit"...why not just cancel and rebook? I typically don't let any hotel "hold money"...why shouldn't you keep it and decide what you want?

^^^^ I didn't even think to cancel and re-book but good idea. The reality is we will use every ounce of that credit. I paid with a debit card so I am not incurring any interest. It will go back in my account if we don't use it but between parking, booze, and anything chargeable to the room, we'll use every penny. Next time though, that'll be something to consider.

I'm going to keep checking back periodically to see if something other than a premium and concierge room opens up for my dates. The room I already have booked through the Visa promo is the same price as the AP promo, but it doesn't come with the goodies!! I'd love the $20, FPs and whatever other bonus they might throw in. Last year I got a really cool Disneyland tote bag and a Disney frame.

I want to report back that YES you can use an annual pass if it has not been activated yet! You have to make sure to active the pass in the parks before checking into the hotel room, that way when you do check in the pass is actually valid or the reservation will not work.

We just got back from Disneyland and had a similar offer. The extra money we paid was well worth it - for the extra FP, the $$ and then the EMH ... on Sunday of half marathon day, our friends rode ToT (x2), RSR (x3), CS (x3) and TSMM during EMH. They're totally on-board with staying at PPH again next year.
