Sorry to hear that. It worked on Thursday, except she made me fish out my ID. Only time in 3 days I had trouble with the AP and finger scan

oh no, that's so frustrating, especially at rope drop! We rarely use the AP entrance at Disney because of that kind of thing. if someone has a problem, hangs up the whole line. Hope y'all didn't lose too much time there

Someone in front of me had trouble with the finger scan and didn’t have her ID with her. Fun times. I assume the earlier hold up was for something similar but there were only two checkpoints there, which really isn’t enough at that time of day.

It worked out though. Hagrid’s went down for a bit while we were in line, but we rode it and were off by 9. Unfortunately, Hippogryff was at 60 minutes by that point, so my daughter who patiently waited with us didn’t get to do her ride today. But parks aren’t too crazy for a Saturday, and we were able to do several secondary rides with reasonable waits and see the Horror Make Up show before noon when we came back to do some pool time at the hotel.
