I am sooooo excited!!!!!!!
I have to say I've heard good things about Jaki (from the resale company) but she really went out of her way to make sure we turned in the final paperwork before we left for out of town next Thursday. When she called me early Tuesday morning to tell me we passed ROFR she said we would receive the rest of the paperwork from the title company in 7-10 days. When I mentioned that we were leaving on day 9 to go out of town she said she would let Disney know about our situation so we could close before we left. I was thinking that we would be able to close next Tuesday or Wednesday and that would have made me happy. But we got a surprising phone call from her early this afternoon saying to look for the e-mail from the title company within an hour. As soon as I hung up with Jaki the e-mail was already there! My husband was home for lunch so we signed the papers and faxed them and sent the wire transfer. The money and papers were received by the title company before I even returned home from the bank!!! (DH called Jaki to see if the title co. received his fax and when she checked on it they informed her that they just received the wire transfer and the fax! When he called me about the news I was driving home from the bank). I am so excited that all this happened way before I inteded it to.

So can I say we are official yet? Or do I need to wait? :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :

It sounds pretty official to me! That really was fast! Congratulations and Welcome Home!

That is great service ... but you are not quite there yet.

The resale cannot close until the Seller signs his/her deed, has it notarized and witnessed, and returns it to the Closing Agent.

The Closing Agent most likely emailed the deed to the seller at the same time that you received your closing documents. The seller is usually asked to return it within 7 days.

Once the seller gets the deed back to the Closing Agent, the sale will close very quickly (usually that day), and Disney will be notified of the ownership change. Disney can take up to 5 business days to get the transfer in their systems.

Congratulations on your DVC Purchase.
