Passed ROFR - Soon to be DVC members - get the embarrassing details here!

:wave2: :wave2: WELCOME HOME....................We too have a small 90 point OKW contract! we love it! It was a great way to get our foot in the door without having to take out any loan.It was the best decision that we ever made. Now you just have to think about all the wonderful Add Ons that you will want to do.. :earseek:

Can someone post the "when did you join" thread link? We are new to the DVC and I would like to announce it there. TIA, Scott. :cool1:

I think for my Jan trip points were borrowed from my SSR Phase II contract, vice my my BWV. Which seemed weird to me at the time, but I didnt question it. I figured MS knows what they are doing.

Slightly off topic. I called member services about my Phase II SSR add-on, also closing in March 2005, and they said I could borrow my 2005 points as of now! Can any of the DVC masters chime in on this one?

Welcome Home!!!!!!

Yes, I think you would win the smallest contract award!!! I guess I was too greedy right from the start

Enjoy,

Well, we got the closing papers today.... :cool1:

Now they want the rest of the money!

Hi!

I just want some feedback on this. We're probably going to try and stay the week before Christmas every other year, and book shorter 4-6 night stays sometime during Jan-1st week of June. We will probably never go to WDW during the summer months. If we do, it would be the last week of August-1st week of September. Last week of October-2nd week of November also a possibility of going for up to a week. We've been looking into becoming DVC members, and wonder which useyear (month) would be best for us. Aug-Oct? We would be open to staying at BW, BC or WL during the week before Christmas. We've thought about purchasing points at the WL, then adding on at the BW.

OK, we got our copy of the paperwork showing we have closed today.

They indicated it would be about 10 days before we are in Disneys system.

So now a question.

Since this was a resale, who should send us info on how to make ressies, phone #'s, membership cards, etc.

TSS or DVD? or a little of both?

In my case, I got closing documents and a title policy from the agent (TSS). Info from Disney came like the member handbook. Now don't be shocked, but I don't know that I ever got a copy of the contract on my points  I know, I should call MS to get more info for my file, esp in light of the poll that is up about contracts :earseek:
