As a Passholder I have always done split stays & never had any issues with fast passes. Imagine my surprise when I received an email that said some of my fp were going to be canceled because of “insufficient “ tickets. After making 2 (very long) phone calls I was told I exceeded the number of days permitted to make fp as an AP. That had never happened before & I went to the AP page where the wording about fast passes was a little confusing. One part said “up to 7 days of fp could be made in a 30 day period”, but in the next paragraph, it stated fp could be made for” up to 7 days OR the entire length of your stay(up to 14 days)”. I will admit I had never read that before, but it certainly offered no further explanation.
I called (again!) to ask which is it?? Seven days or 14 days? If my reservation had been one continuous one, I would get the 14 days. But since I had a split stay- three resorts, one dining plan for one reservation, & different people on the reservation-yes, I like to keep Disney on their toes!- it wasn’t really considered a continuous one. The CM who helped me did some magical reconfigurations & did indeed fix my problem. But that’s after spending all morning on the phone!
I just wanted to let others know what could happen & keep some innocent Passholder from being blindsided as I was. This having fun is getting to be too much work!
