I know this has probably been asked a lot but if I get a notice that my party may be seated at more than one table, should I take it or find another time that doesn't have that message? It seems to happen whenever I want something close to 6 PM. Has anyone ever been seated at different tables or can I ignore the warning?

that warning shows up on virtually every reservation, regardless of party size...we get it on party-of-two. Got it on party of 3 & party of 4 also. Have even seen reports that people get it on "party of ONE!", imagine splitting that party, lol. It's just a cover-every-contingency for Disney...just in case.

Take the reservations...and count on not getting split.

As PP said it is Disney having to cover the bases. Now if you have a larger party this can occur more than if you had 4-5 people.

Thanks! That's what I was hoping to hear. I'm already eating an hour earlier than I would like to accommodate others so I didn't want to have to force feed myself at an even earlier time.

Haa haa I would like to see how they split a party of 1 as well :)

How many are in your party? I had a party of 8 and we did get split up once.

I booked a party of 6 for Kona and got this message for the first time. I'm hoping they're just covering their bases and we'll be put together (although it's toward the end of the trip so maybe by that time a little less togetherness would be a good thing :rotfl:).

I have 8 too. What restaurant was it? Was it during free dining?

It was actually during two different trips..

Crystal Palace during free dining.

And just this past May at 1900 Park Fare not during free dining. Both times the tables were right next to each other so it wasn't a huge deal.

There were also plenty of times during those trips that I got that message and was not split up.

I get that msg everytime I make a reservation @ Liberty Tree..good to know chances of sitting together are still good
