Party questions...Beer in the day and CityWalk on the 4th?

My first post! I won't be driving so no worries, lol.

Will be coming down this weekend, I expect it to be super busy.

1) Do they serve beer in the park or only at restaurants?
2) If at the park, is there any kind of unlimited or discount on refills for beer; what's the cost?
3) I saw the happy hour postings; do they have this on Friday Saturday (4th of July) and Sunday?
4) I see most saying they like the Hardrock or Margaritaville the most...What's the better party spot for 20-somethings?
5) Is there anyway discounts on cover charges?

To answer your questions:
1)Beer is sold in the parks and the Citywalk restaurants. Most of the restaurants (counter serve and full serve) have a selection available. There are even stands that sell beer & snacks.

2)There is a refillable pilsner you can get. I'm not sure the cost of the pilsner or the refills, though. You can expect to pay around $6 for a bottle/draft, though.

3)I'm not sure. They probably will have it.

4)Rising Star is actually a lot of fun. It's a karaoke club with a LIVE BAND. The groove is so-so.

5)Citywalk often sells party passes, which are about $10/person and good for unlimited admission to all clubs on date of purchase. A "meal & party deal" is also sold. It's about $20-$25/person and includes a meal at one of the Citywalk restaurants (limited menu) and access to all the Citywalk clubs.

2}The Pilsner cost $8.99 and refills are $6.At some locals the beer is 12oz and others 16oz.They still cost $6,but with the pilsner you get 24oz everytime!!

Ypou can purchase the pilsner at any of the sreet carts that sell beer and everywhere they sell beer you can get it refilled inside the parks only.CW and the resorts wont refill it.

I want to say 11, as most food locations are open by then. Noon is definite, though.

My husband was so impressed that Universal had beer EVERYWHERE! I didn't remember that Disney only had beer in certain places (epcot, I think). Universal mostly had Bud products, but some of the carts sold Miller Lite - he was thrilled! I think 11am was opening time for most food/beverage spots. We loved the happy hour outside Margaritaville! 1/2 price margaritas frozen or on the rocks ($3.26 with tax) they were sooo good! We also thought the Irish place in Universal looked good and had a happy hour too.

In the bars you can get everything from double crown too a daquirea!!
Not cheap,mixed drinks,dependingon which one,can run between $7-$15.But they dont skimp on on the booze!!

There are quite a few websites that you can print off coupons to use in CityWalk, they give you 2 for 1 drinks and a free party pass for CityWalk

I'm sorry, I should have been a bit more specific, In the park at beer stands, do they see anything else besides beer that you can walk around with. i have been before and enjoy beer, but going with my GF and she's not quite the beer lover that i may be. Do they serve froze margaritas?
I cant wait to go back, love it there

IIRC, at some of the locations there are things such as strawberry daiquiris & pina coladas that can be with/without alcohol. I want to say that at The Watering Hole (next to Dueling Dragons & the Discovery Center in JP) you can find that. I'm sure other locations (including some carts) do have frozen drinks.
