we are not anti-social by any means, just curious if we'll be seated alone or with another family?

As a party of 6, it is more than likely that you will be seated with just your party.

Since they have tables for 6, if you call DCL and request one you almost certainly will get it!

Since they have tables for 8, if you call DCL and request to be seated with another couple, you might get that. I'm am absolutely guessing here, but I would say your odds for getting that are 50-50.

Anyway, you have some control over it, so if you have any druthers let DCL know.

We are a party of two adults, celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary onboard and don't mind being seated with others, I just hope we aren't seated with any children under 18 years. Not to be snobby, but we are leaving our own children back in Oklahoma! So, no children please!

We have second seating, so maybe that will help. Hopefully, if we have to request a seating change, we will be accommodated!

In our experience, every time we've cruised as an adult only couple, we were seated with other adult only couples.

We've always been seated with adults when traveling without the kids, and that's also what I've observed at other tables. It's free and easy to call DCL to ask them that, seems to me it is much easier to do it ahead of time rather than spend the time once onboard changing seating assignments. And if you just waited to see, you wouldn't find out anyway until after the first meal. Confirming ahead of time is a much better idea, IMHO.

A party of 7 (4 adults, 3 kids) will likely sit alone at a table for 8? As a cast member, I think I get the lowest priority.

Wow. Thanks for the quick reply. I'd imagine a single (not sure how common that is) would not be joining us.

Single adults would most likely be seated with other singles or couples without children. I would be surprised if a single adult was seated with a family of 7.
