Party of 6 on 7/4. Critique my itenary and help on lodging

They managed to get a flight the next day out to Orlando!! They were not happy especially as they had flown from the UK!! I don't think their insurance covered it as it was technically their fault as they had not used a travel agent, they had booked it themselves!! This was before they knew me otherwise this so would not have happened!!!!!!

It's not walking distance...its right at a mile if i remember right. Might just go with the La Quinta Deluxe kids suite. It's about a half mile away I think which is close enough.

We have stayed there and I kinda liked it. The rooms were really big, and everyone there was really nice. The pool area wasnt the greatest, but it was okay for the price we paid. We are staying at the Hojos on the Entertianment rate this time! Also check into the Desert Inn and Suites. Its not a good nieghbor, but it is right across the street, and you can get a room with 4 queens and 2 bathrooms in it.

Just a warning, July 4th will be BUSY. Its one of the busiest days of the year.

We went into Disneyland for ten separate days in late June, early July and we found July 4 to be the quietest day of our trip. I think its because it is a Blackout day for all APs so not as many locals, there is also probably a tendancy for tourists to avoid it because they think it might be busy.

For all that I recommend a 4 day pass also do 2 days DL, 1 day CA then 1 day doing all your favourites again

We spent a day at Soak City which was something completely different, you can easily get there from Anaheim by Bus. I would give Knotts a miss as it is quite run down.
