MGM was the park of choice today. We got fast passes for TOT and then went to see Indiana Jones. We were pretty excited to see the show, since it was under renovation last time (2000). It was fabulous and my boys just love that gift store. My DS12 found a cool dragon necklace, and he didn't think he'd find *anything* at Disney to buy. The TOT was a huge hit with my family. We sat in on the Millionaire show and I couldn' t believe how addicting that was, I wanted to sit through another one, but had other things to see.
We had pictures taken with Sully and Mikey from Monsters Inc., that was a great picture. Naturally, we visited Al's Toy Barn and had pictures taken with the Toy Story gang. I had to get my picture taken with Woody, I kind of have a crush on him...my kids think that is a hoot. We were all pretty disappointed with the pizza at Pizza Planet, was it just us or does anyone else think it is horrible? We aren't really that picky either, wish we would have eaten somewhere else.
The Stars and Motor Cars parade was absolutely great. I think it was my favorite parade.
My DD6 and I went to see the Mermaid show and my DS12 and DS9 and DH headed back for the Millionaire Show again....they didn't have any luck. The hot seat question wanted you to put the songs from Hunchback in order. That is one Disney movie we are not familiar with. The person that won said they just hit the buttons fast with no idea at all!
We discovered my DD6 lost her lanyard and pin that I bought her yesterday. We were so sad. We went back to the pin show under the giant Mickey hat to see if anyone turned it in. No one turned it in. We were debating what to do when the cm walked up to us and wanted to replace the pin and lanyard. She took us to a different shop, since she didn't have the light pink one. She told me she didn't want anyone to leave Disney sad. I was speechless because these things don't happen to us. I know the $5 lanyard and $6 pin doesn't sound like much, but it meant the world to us at the time. I know what Disney magic is and will never forget this CM.
We headed out just amazed. We wanted to get back and into bed early since Sunday was going to be a very, very busy day.
