YAY! It's Monday!!!! LOL! Am I the only weird one that is EXCITED about the quests being over? Pink wants her social life back!!!! Everyone was questing over the weekend so it was really lonely!

So a big woot for Monday!

I propose we have a party tonight to celebrate !!

I was so frustrated by these quests, I too am glad they are over.


While the one(sidekicks) I did finish on my own was fun the rest were just too frustrating. I love the idea of the quests they just need some tweaking for the masses.

Ditto!! I could only handle doing each quest one time. I didn't even help my kids get their rewards. Well, except for my girl on Saturday, she really wanted a pink slipper chair! But now that May is here, what is our theme? They can't just stop theming the months now, I was getting use to it!

As far as a party, I'm always up for that! Maybe we can do a room hop, starting at my Party Prison (come in and do some time). Lets start early though, say... 10am?

Good thing they are finally done! I have trouble with one quest, but to throw two and three quests in one day, I was going crazy! I even had the answers and still found it tough to get through. And I want to apologize right now to anyone that might have thought I was just ignoring them. I was doing the quest for my boys also~except for pirates, then I would call my oldest boy into action. LOL I would not mind a weekend off from staff games just so I can get caught up with my friends. Just let us know when and where the party will be, and I'll bring the cake and icing! Remember, it's all about the icing! Have a peaceful day!

If I were to see another quest this weekend I would have been ill. I had to do them for myself, dw and dd6. They drive my wife crazy and my daughter is just to young. I had a choice - give up my prizes or run there characters through.

Call it a hunch, but my "predictometer" predicts that it will be a baseball theme. Just an outfield hunch. But first thing this morning, it sure was nice when a pretty girl batted her eyes, while bringing a pitcher of a nice cold drink, while mixing her cake batter. I won't bother with the second and third reasons. Perhaps the game will be in Maui? Rongo ru!

I swear, it was like a full work day of "fun" time except it wasn't very fun haha... that and when you're bloodshot from jungle cruise, there's something very wrong lol. But I wanted to run through a few times for friends who couldn't make it... ah, at least it's all over...

I'm with all of you! Quests are Done!!!! YAY! I had to do each of them for me (which took forever) and then help my dd7 through them. My ds7 wants nothing to do with any of it! He just likes playing with his friends and spending his credits! I saw those baseball uniforms on the homepage! They are so cute!

I enjoy the challenge of a good quest... and liked the trivia in these- but hated having to play pirates in every game- (I'm not a pirate person) DH had helped me get my character through to level 3 but as I'm working my kids through- I realize neither of their characters have gotten off level 1 which I hate more than the others- So if DH was available I'd pass off the lap top to him for pirates- he actually ended up working dd through 5 games so she would go to level 2 lol- and was shocked to find that the kids had never been worked up a level- so that will probably be another goal for later...

I am also not a big fan of Mansion- I can play it and score fine- if the other person knows how to play- it was so frustrating waiting for a game with someone (at least you can play pirates alone if no one jumps on your team) and have them run around turned into a ghost the whole time- or have them quit or like one time- I joined a game and was at least 30 seconds before they started the game- we get into and they start yelling at me because I am in the game... and saying they are so going to quit- I said don't bother and exitted the game... I did have to get dh on a few times to play too so I'd have someone to play against.

And I share the same complaint of too many had pirates- it really was too difficult to get into a game and very frustrating- I'm still amazed at some of the times for some of the quests- even with a mule knowing all the answers- how did they get through the games that fast?

Oh and to the other VMK Dads- my dh was actually the first to play in our family then got our then 7yo involved and then I started to play and created a character for our 1 year old lol- he'll be two this summer- but he knows the music to the different games- he loves pirates by the way- I didn't play one game without him by my side for most of the game lol...

DH has been a DIS member since before VMK came out- but he just lurks- doesn't post much at all...

JC is worth the 750 credits if you can make top 10. Even tho I played lots of JC these last few days, I never once played all the way thru to get top 10. I was too busy questing all weekend.
I did each quest at least 6 times. I knew that there would be some of my fellow DISers who couldn't get on or couldn't finish them due to problems.

But this questing has actually taken a toll on my credits. I still haven't made up for the credits I spent buying the quest machine.

Pink, I"m with you girlygirl! I felt like a social outcast all weekend running around from room to room looking for 'gems' and skulls. Good grief! I missed all my buddies!

Then I realized that I hadn't ever done the diving quest, so I had to do that before I could do the last quest that needed diving magic.

I am totally frustrated at Pirates. Not only could I not get in a game, but once I did I couldn't seem to get the required number of points. It could have something to do with the fact that I play with the sound off and can't hear the pirate telling me "you're all out of ammo!"

I really like Jungle Cruise and could get through that task in a series of screens plus one or two. Haunted was another story as I keep dcing in the middle of the game.

All in all I liked the quests. It was the first time I've ever really done any, but I too am ready for a party Bring on the icing!

wow! I think you hit a homerun with that guess Be. I guess when its 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th and 2 strikes, 2 outs , and the tie run is on 3rd your there to bat for us!
