Anyone getting excited waiting for the release of the 2005 Food and Wine Festival schedule? I seem to remember getting my tickets for the "Party for the Senses" in July last year, so maybe some info will be available soon!

I can't wait either. I've never been so I don't know what to expect.....What is the party for the senses?

Ohmanohmanohmanohman am I ever excited! I drive FH nuts by reminding him every few days how much longer it is.

I know the first day to call in reservations last year was July 20, so I'm starting to get antsy. For the PftS, though, we didn't even call for one until a few hours beforehand and were able to get seats. We're not worrying about it this year, except for a Wine School for me.

I'm planning a trip this fall just for the Festival. I caught a "taste" of it last year, but didn't have enough time to explore it fully. This trip will revolve around it. I have a question for you veterans though. We're going for the food, not the wine. Neither my traveling partner nor I drink much at all. At the Party for the Senses, will there be soda or water available? Thanks for the help.

Yes, both are available. Bottled water (upscale kind, not Dasani) on ice with plastic cups are around the World Showplace, and I believe you have to ask a server for soda.
