partner hurt hand

Partner just rung to tell me he is shuting our scrapyard and going up hospital. he has smashed his hand at work.
God my week cant get any worse. Had bank card cloned sat. This today on my sons 2nd birthday. we have plans tonight.
We also go on holiday Sat morning to spain.

whatever will the third thing be???

Does anyone know the rules about flying and broken limbs. He says its his hand. will they plaster a hand and we he need doctors letters etc.

please advice

Sorry about the bad luck you've been having.

When my daughter broke her arm just before our holiday the problem was that they set it temporarily for a couple of days and then we had to go back to have it reset. This was in case of severe swelling. But if you're not going until Saturday you could well be alright.
Let's hope it's not a break after all.

i hope not. a friend as just told me the same. that swelling that can hide the fracture,and they ask you to return in few days for another x-ray.

HELLO, THOUGHT ID FILL YOU ALL IN. PARTNER ARRIVED AT PUB AS WE WAS LEAVING AFTER 5 HOURS AT LOCAL A+E. TOLD HIM LIGAMENT DAMAGE AND TENDONS. NO SPLITS ETC, OR MEDICATION. ADVICED TO TAKE ANTI-FLAMS. APPOINTMENT FOR THE 3RD SEPT WHEN WE GET BACK OF HOLS. WICKED I THOUGHT PANIC OVER....

WENT TO OUT SCRAPYARD THIS MORNING TO TAKE HIM SOME COLD POP AND ANTI-FLAMS AND NO PARTNER. HIS MOM WHO WORKS FOR US IN OFFICE SAID HE WAS OUT ON RECOVERY. I SAID "IN WHAT LORRY? OUR LORRIES WAS BOTH THERE PARKED. SHE WENT VERY RED AND CONFESSED HE WAS UP HOSPITAL SEEING A SPECIALIST ABOUT HIS HAND..!! BLESS HE DIDNT WANT TO WORRY ME UNTIL HE NEEDED TOO.

SO AFTER 2 MORE X-RAY. SPECAILIST CONFIRMS TO HAS TORE LIAMENTS AND TENDENTS. (EXCUSE SPELLING)

GAVE HIM PAIN KILLERS AND SENT HIM HOME TO REST IT. WITH APPOINTMENT FOR WHEN WE RETURN TO UK. SO LIKE ALL MEN HE HAS IGNORED DOCTORS ADVICE AND GONE TO WORK.

LOOKS LIKE HE IS WASHING UP TONIGHT...
