Plan: Spend a few days with Cousins and head to the GF & WDW

I was hesitant to take my parents to Disney Quest. We have never been so I decided to go for it. So On Monday December 7th we headed to DQ.
We arrived prior to openning time (11:30) and walked down to the waterfront. We could see contruction of the Saratoga Springs Resort. I have been to Saratoga Springs, NY many times. The architexture seemed right, but I wouldn't have chosen those colors on the finished part of the facade.
Disney Quest is a blast !!! I have read mush critisism of DQ but I had a great time. My Mom & Dad enjoyed it. Their favorites were the Junge Raft and the bumper cars. Once my Dad figured out how they worked, he loved shooting the balls at my car and making me spin out of control. He also like the design a toy thingee. He made this really sick looking doll that I encouraged him to buy, but he wouldn't.
My mom had trouble with Alladins carpet ride as the CM didn't tighten her virtual reality helmet and it kept slipping down on her forehead. We did everything at DQ in about three hours. The crowds were non-existant. Our longest wait was about 15 minutes at about 1:30PM. I could spend forever in DQ playing the old style arcade games that I grew up on.
Mom was getting tired so we left DQ at 2:30PM and did a late lunch at Captain Jacks Oyster Bar. I got carded at Captain Jack's when I ordered a Fuzzy Captain. (Haven't been carded in about five years). I was glad I had my driver's liscense.
We took the bus to the WL and saw their amazing Christmas Tree than we headed by boat to the other resorts to see their Christmas Decorations. Our last stop was at the beach at the poly were we watched Wishes, then had drinks in the loungs and saw the floating electircal pagent. If you are at the Poly be sure to check out the Wyland Art Gallery, it has beautiful paintings, scuplture and jewelry of dolphins, manatees etc.
Tomorrow we check in at the GF and I can't wait !!!!!!!!!
