Parks on Thanksgiving day

We will be there the week of thanksgiving....debating on if we should plan a park day on Thanksgiving day or just hand at our resort? Will that day truly be any busier than any other day that week? [we arrive the saturday before and leave the saturday after]....our entire family or 16 is planning on coming down for a golden bday celebration so we are all starting to plan out days so we can start purchasing part tickets.

We went to Epcot in the afternoon. It was great.

MK will be crazy busy after lunch. The rest of the parks aren't bad at all. We were in HS this year and had a blast.

I was there on Thanksgiving three years ago, and I didn’t think it was bad at all.

I honestly wish we were going back again this year. It was a really great trip.

We were there for Thanksgiving last year and it was busy, but manageable. I had heard horror stories and it really wasn't that bad. I would avoid MK, but other than that I think you will be fine as long as you plan properly.

I was there Thanksgiving of 2016. Was in Ep in the morning and AK in the afternoon. Didn't notice any huge difference in crowds from the rest of the week.

last year we arrived Thanksgiving day and were in MK by about 1130am. We were prepared for madness and it was actually quite manageable We had lunch, our fast passes, a few other rides and really just enjoyed seeing the décor before leaving the park for dinner at Trails End. As another poster said I would LOVE to do it again. Not in the cards this year but I will be back at that time.
