Will be visiting US and IOA in the first week of October...do the HHN really boost up attendance during this time? Was anyone in the parks LAST year during the first week of Oct? We will not be staying onsite, so will not have FOTL. Advice?

I would appreciate any comments! :bounce:

Crowds are light during the day. At night they get huge for HHN.

Crowds are light during the day, with a 20-30 being the common max wait for popular attractions.

The weather is also excellent.

HHN Halloween Horror Night
We where there a couple of years ago and agree crowds where light we did not stay onsite and never waited more than 20 min for a ride:jester:

We were there last October and the crowds were very light on the weekend. We were there the first weekend of HHN and the lines were about 5 minutes with FOTL. HHN was great. If you go, stay in the park at closing and have dinner. They will check your ticket to make sure you have one for HHN and let you stay in certain areas. Then, you get into a couple of the houses before the crowds open to the public and the houses have a much greater scare factor.

We were there last mid-October and crowds were surprising light during the day. We would go in first thing in the morning and ride MIB over and over again without wait for the first 45 of the day. Weather was great! Nights were packed. As my husband says: "The economy is good"

Last year I think they started around Oct. 5th and we bought the express passes and needed them. APH were able to queue in JP and got a good head start on the rest.
