Could any of you folks who have been to Florida in late February / early March provide advice on how busy the parks are likely to be during this time. I have heard that it is quite a busy period due to the presidents day holiday in America.

Also, having only been in Aril / October before, could you also advise on how warm it is likely to be !

Thanks

Haven't been at that time of year before but we are going 2003 - last week feb/first week march, so I have been looking for answers to the same questions.

Presidents day is Feb 15 - I was careful to avoid this. I am led to believe it gets very busy that weekend, plus some schools have a holiday that week.

As far as the weather is concerned, from what I can fathom mid-70's temps can be expected, however it might take a little longer to warm up, so it could still feel a little on the cool side if you are heading out at 8am.

I also noted one message from a DISer who had been in February for the last two years running - one year was gorgeous the next was a little cool.

I'm pretty easy going - whatever the weather - it is bound to be a damn sight warmer than it is here in Feb.

We've been three times at this time of year and it's great. Other than President's Day the lines are quite manageable. Though we've never been any other time, to be fair, I'm sure it must be busier at other times from what you read here and elsewhere.

The weather has been generally good but changeable and different each time we've been. When it's cold it's bloomin cold  but then it's been red hot at other times. Take sweaters and fleeces and be prepared to dodge the odd deluge - it's worth it for the better ' value' for your money IMHO.

We go every year for Presidents week, the lines are manageable if you plan, by the Friday/Saturday of that week the crowds start thinning. The parks dont have as long hours later in the month also there are fewer parades/fireworks etc but because the crowds are less you should still be able to see them.
Weather wise do as Spotty said and be prepared for anything, we had torrential rain then frost the week before he arrived and he had it glorious!
