Stumbles through the doorway...

what? who? huh? Parks game?

I swear there is a suite of armor on the fantasyland side of the castle... i dont think it was said either...

Steve;
I like your band pics! Are you a snare? I played drums for six years before moving to baritone. I marched in both my school band and a DCI drum corps.

While we're waiting to finish amandadaddy's tough one, how about a softball:

Name the eight E-ticket rides from the first years of operation.

Name the eight E-ticket rides from the first year of operation.

Pirates of the Caribbean
Jungle Cruise
Country Bear Jamboree
Haunted Mansion
Hall of Presidents
It's a Small World
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
Space Mountain

Shelly gets them all!! I had a typo in my original question ("year" vs. "years"), but she answered it correctly anyway! A big e-ticket AAQ to you Shelly.

I don't know if this question has been posed yet but here goes:

Approximately how many people visited Disney World during its first year of operation?

Let me know if this is a repeat, and I will post another question. Thanks!

7 more days to go!!! Whoopeeeee!!! :dancer:

Happy Fourth Anniversary, Parks Game Thread!!! It was four years ago today that supamaki asked that famous question:

In what WDW attraction is there a dog named Nana? And what year did it open?

safaulk;
I'll guess 1,971,000 :rotfl:

Happy Anniversary, fellow members of the Park Game!!

I'll guess that Nana is in Tarzan Rocks!!

Hey...this will be my only chance to post today and I didn't want to get one right and have to ask a question! :smooth:

Have a great time celebrating four years of fun and friendship. Now, pass the Dole Whip please! :cool1:

happy anniversary!

that would be Peter Pan's Flight...but I'll hand my AAQ off if I'm right!

:cool1: :cool1: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Yes, it is Peter Pan's Flight.
But don't forget the second part of the question:

And what year did it open?

(I'll be out for a while at my company picnic. Keep the cc warm for me and I'll bring back a truckload of Dole Whips for the party :banana: ).

Correct, wdwtheplacetobe!! One thing most people do not know is that PPF actually did not open on Opening Day, 10/1/71. It wasn't quite ready and opened two days late on 10/3/71.

Anybody else want to spend an AAQ??

here's a softball to keep the game rolling....

What is the name of the water tower at MGM?

:wave2: :rolleyes1 :wave2:

Hmmmmmmm........
Awefully quiet in the CC for an anniversary party. Guess everyone is off doing something in the "real world". Well, I'll just sit back and relax with this truckload of Whiparitas while I watch the virtual parade go by.

To help out any new folks on the thread, I'll give you the story of the CC (chalk circle):
Believe it or not, there was a woman who posted on the "Theme Parks Attractions and Strategies" board that she had gone to WDW with her family. In order to make sure she had good seats for the Main Street Parade, she brought a bucket of kids chalk with her to mark out "her turf". She drew a huge circle on the sidewalk for her group. She was shocked when other people actually had the nerve to sit in "her circle". :rotfl: The responses to that thread were so amusing that our little PG Thread decided to "adopt" the idea and make our own Virtual Chalk Circle. We would sit around in the circle and imbide in Whiparitas, which are Dole Whips with a special "kick". The fun lasted for over two years and through many versions of the PG Thread.

Now, to stay within the rules of the board, a park question:

In which MK land can you buy a Dole Whip?

MMMM DOLE WHIP!!

Adventureland...

KSDave yes i am a snare player... i played in high school and now play for my university. what corps did you march?

~

Steve;
You are absolutely correct! A special-edition Forth Anniversary AAQ to you (it comes loaded with unlimited questions to be asked :teeth: ). You're up!

[I marched in the Long Island Kingsmen (probably before your time). Since then, I have traveled with The Cadets as a volunteer. This past summer, my son marched with Revolution from San Antonio as their youngest member ever (13) and I was Volunteer Coordinator].

I have heard of the Kingsman... The Cadets ah yes, the land of the right foot step off :teeth: very unique... i march with one of the trumpet players from the cadets. Very good player
edit: 13 is really young to be in a corps! thats pretty cool!
as for the question

Where can you find a goat with an "explosive" ( eh hem play on words ) attitude.
