Mickey's Birthdayland wqas created to celebrate Mickey's 60th Birthday!

Party balloon AAQ cards to Tink85 and POOH & PIGLET. ::yes::

Next question please.

:teeth:

I think the Share a Dream parade starts in Frontierland in front of Pecos Bill's restaurant, heads up through Liberty Square, around the castle circle and down Main Street to Town Hall?

SLouis.... So you are saying it is still at pretty much the same level for small children?

Gee I thought the addition of stitch might make it a better children's attraction.

MBabe...from what I understand Stitch still has a somewhat similar storyline so they could use similar effects. However, it is now clearly much more child friendly since they know Stitch is not a killing machine. For instance, the moisture that is sprayed represents slobber, not blood like it did in Alien Encounter. I think it sounds like a huge improvement and is probably kid-friendly in a similar manner that Haunted Mansion is.

Okay, I have a stack of AAQ cards that date all the way back to the P&G thread part one!!!

So, in order to move this back to page one, I'm going to cash one in with an easy question:

What was the EPCOT Center pre-opening slogan?

Good luck!

I can't seem to remember this one sadly.

But I'll bump the thread up with a guess.

World of Tomorrow.

Ireally do know it. But I can't think of it. Aaarrrrggggghhhhh!!!!!!!!

No to all of the above guesses.

Keep trying!

JamesD,

You're partially right. The last part of your answer is correct, but not the first part.

"The Newest Wonder of the World Opens October 1, 1982"

How about

"The newest park that gets really hot in the summer opens October 1, 1982"? :sunny:

Lisa....great to "see" you back in the old Chalk Circle again! :)

I thought that was AK.

How about "The World of Tomorrow Opens October 1, 1972"?

Granny,

Great to be back in the Chalk Circle again.

I think this question has been on here long enough, so I'll give you the answer.

According to the pre-opening poster, license plate and license plate bracket I have, they all say "The 21st Century Begins October 1, 1982".

Time for a new question!

I'm not sure if I have an AAQ card, but I'm gonna throw a question out anyway, I hope my etiquitte's OK.

On which rides do you go backwards at some point??

Rides you go backwards on:

Maelstrom
Spaceship Earth
Haunted Mansion
Test Track
Mad Hatter's Tea Party
Kali River Rapids

(Edited to add Kali River Rapids)

So far gometros has all of them except one that I knew before I asked (and even one I didn't think of)
