A Salute to All Nations...but mostly America.

I love Sam Eagle!!!

I'm headed out on vacation so someone else can take my AAQ, assuming I'm correct.

Right you are B'rer Karen! A patriotic AAQ to you! Seeing as disneyfanUSA, why don't you go ahead and keep this one in your back pocket for future use? Have a great vacation!

Welcome disneyfanUSA! Here are the ground rules for all of the newcomers. Welcome everyone! Don't be a lurker, be a poster!

There are only a few rules….

You may ask a question after correctly answering a question and being awarded an AAQ (Ask A Question) card.

Questions should be in bold to allow us to follow the game more easily.

Lurking is okay, but it’s a lot more fun to jump in and guess! There is no punishment for wrong answers here!!

Questions should be focused on the four WDW theme parks in order to maintain our place on this board. A continued thank you to the moderators for allowing this game to continue for more than 3 years.

Is asking one about typhoon lagoon not ok?? I thought it still would fit under the Theme Parks Attractions and Strategies? :goodvibes

I believe you are referring to "Miss Tilly", high above Typhoon Lagoon! It was great seeing her two weeks ago!

In the context of the 4 main theme parks...;)

Where will you find the "Wicked Wench"?

That would be the pirate ship in the Pirates of the Caribbean!

Correct! The Wicked Wench can be found at Pirates of the Caribbean.

Arrrrrgh! A "Shiver Me Timbers AAQ" to Dzneynut!

A furious storm once roared 'cross the sea catching ships in its path, helpless to flee . . . Instead of a certain and watery doom The winds swept them here to TYPHOON LAGOON.

I dont think it had a name...
If there's one thing we've learned about WDW (and Disney, for that matter!), is that everything has a name!
Here's the answer:
Hurricane Connie is the storm that turned the "Placid Palms Resort" into Typhoon Lagoon. It is also the same fictional storm that destroyed much of Pleasure Island. You can find debris, such as boxes from the Fireworks Factory, which used to be a restaurant at Pleasure Island, over at Typhoon Lagoon.

Well, I guess I learned something new!

Dzneynut...give yourself a "Hurricane AAQ", and lets have another question!

Thats cool. I'd love to know how you found this out. I searched everywhere I (and Google) could think of and found nothing...

The answer(s) lie in my email address!
Let's try another similar opening question:
What was the second new attraction to open at the Magic Kingdom, after the Grand Opening in 1971?

Was it the Enchanted Tiki Room? I just can't get that tune out of my head:lmao:
