Update:

A guy on a German forum who is at DLP at the moment says, that there are different infos about the actual situation.

Some CM said that the parcs will not open and some other CM said that it will open again.

I guess we have to wait until we will hear some official news.

I can understand the "chaotic" situation there at the moment.

seeing reports now on Twitter that the park WILL BE CLOSED SUNDAY 15, MONDAY 16 TUESDAY 17 NOVEMBER

this information is coming from CM'S who received information on the internal messaging system.

I've seen posts elsewhere from Paris business owners saying the Police have told them to remain closed for now so I imagine that the Police are involved in the Disney decision as well.

Post from DLP just gone on facebook saying the parks will be closed through Tuesday, not sure what to do now as we are due to fly early Monday morning, I know safety is paramount and it's sickening what has happened to all those poor people, what would you guys do, we are there till Friday, just not sure what to do Mon and Tues?

I would go. The hotels and Disney village is open. I am seeing reports on Twitter that CMs and characters are in the hotels. If you are there until Friday, then you Wednesday, Thursday, Friday i the parks. I know its not the same, but at least you will be there.

Also on a side note, most travel insurance dont cover Terror Attacks. Depending on your transport , you might not get refunds, only a changing of travel dates. I am seeing that people are having difficulties contacting Disney to cancel.

« We mourn those lost to the horrific attacks in Paris, we pray for the injured and we hold them all in our hearts. As part of France's three-day national mourning period, Disneyland Paris will remain closed through Tuesday 17 November. » Tom Wolber, Président of Euro Disney S.A.S.

anyone know if there is extra security at the hotels at the moment? With people confined to either their hotel or disney village then surely that makes those places more densely populated and so also targets?

It's a bit confusing with 3 diff sections, 2 of them say 'through' Tuesday and one of them says until Tuesday? It's just us 2 adults so at least we haven't got kiddies to entertain and not so bad if the village will be open! Debs xxx

DLPtoday on Twitter reported seeing handheld scanners being used on guests at the entrance to Disney Village, also there are bag scanners at Disney village and at the hotels

Is it possible to book any restaurants in the village before we go, I can imagine it will be very busy!

You need to call Disney Dining Reservations on +33 1 60 30 40 50 (French phone number) I would wait until the morning. You can also book when you get there with your hotel reception

Thank you so much, we will take some food and a travel kettle with us too, let's just hope and pray there are no more attacks, was thinking about going to Val de Europe but do feel a little bit apprehensive now :(

Yes, Hotel Passes are being checked for all Guests entering the hotels. All cars entering the hotel car parks are being searched.

Hand held scanners are also being used. French Police and the regular Army troops have been reenforced and are patrolling around the Village and the perimeter of the resort together with DLP security.

Plain clothed armed Police and DLP security are also operating in the resort.

The Disney Village is only open to Disney hotel Guests and detailed bag checks are being carried out to enter the Village.

I think it's safe to say the DLP is one of the safest public places in France at the moment.

I hope anyone with Annual Passes who had travelled are also being allowed to access the Village Jonathan?

I understand that only Disney hotel guests are being alowed inside the security cordon to enter the Disney Village.

Anyone else arriving at the resort who is not a Disney hotel guest is being turned away.
