Parking question

Hello,

First time going to Disneyland. Do we park in the same lot for both parks and downtown disney?

Varies on how long you will be at DTD. If you already bought a Parking Pass for Disneyland, you might as well park in the structure. DTD parking is much more expensive if you leave your car there longer but you can get free parking if you have validation.

DTD parking is free for three hours. With validation you get two more. maximum free parking is five hours.

As the PP's said, it depends on your intended length of stay at DTD...if you're planning on the parks first, and then staying in DTD, definitely use the parking garage. If just DTD, then use the DTD lot. If you are coming in from Ball Rd or the 5 - watch the signs above, as there is a lane specifically for the hotels and DTD. If you accidentally are in the Theme Parks only line, and don't mean to be but can't get out - just go to the toll booth, and tell them so, and they'll let you out without paying, and it will actually then exit right out near the DTD lot's entrance.
