parking question at Poly...

if you are going to the Polynesian just for a meal, do you have to pay to park? I was also wondering if there is a guard shack at the Poly, like to check in before you enter the resort? I can't remember, the last time I stayed there was 1982, and ever since then I have always visited via monorail.

You do not have to pay to park at the Poly (unless you valet). There is a guard at the guardhouse. Typically, he will give you a 3 hour parking pass.

MIL had no problem parking at the Poly, she's from Lakeland, we had Dinner at Poly several times.

Naughty naughty Steamboat Girlie. I hope you're not trying to park at Poly looking for free parking in order to jump on the monorail to hit the parks. Shame on you.

I hope not as the Poly will tow if you go over the 3 hour parking limit. I've seen it done.
