Parking in the parks

So this trip we are staying off site...We will have our van with us of course i see parking is 12 bucks a day at the parks. My mom was wondering if there was a some kind of deal for parking everyday. I told her there wasnt it was just 12 bucks everyday for off site guest. Was i right in telling her this? She was wondering if there was some kind package for it... If there was wouldnt that b great for off site people?

No special deals on parking...it's just that $12 a day. No way around it. But, if you decide to head to another park, on the same day, hold onto your parking receipt...that way you don't have to pay at the second park.

If you have an Annual Pass then you would get free parking, even though you would still be staying off site.

Yes, depending on the length of your trip, you could figure out the amount you would spend on parking over the length of your trip, and it may be worth one adult in the family getting an AP. Or if you visit every year, and can plan next year's trip a week or two earlier than this year's trip, the AP is usually the way to go.
