Parking in Port Canaveral

I am seriously considering driving to FL prior to our cruise. We would plan to arrive the night before and stay in a hotel. Where does one park for a week or is renting a car there and back the best option?

We stayed at the Radisson. They let you leave your car there for free and I got an online rate of something like $89. There are other hotels also, but be sure to make sure your rate qualifies for the free parking. (I called the Radisson and they said "any rate")

Shuttle to and from the port was very easy!

Yes, it runs to the port something like every half hour and then non-stop back from the port once the boats come in. We waited about 5 minutes on the return?

They have a dedicated area of the parking lot where you park. They were very helpful and the hotel was nice. Pretty pool area. Plus there's a Publix not to far away so you can "Stock" up for the boat!

Parking at the Port facilities costs $15.00 per day and is very convenient to the boats. On arrival day of the boats there is some waiting time for the shuttles to get you back to the hotels. It is a lot easier just to walk over to the car and sometimes worth the parking money you spend. Second off the parking area at Disney is watched closer by the port security.

I am cruising again Monday so I will be depositing another $60.00 in my Port parking account.
