I've only been to WDW once and we stayed on property and took the busses everywhere.

This time we are off site, with a rental car. I understand for MK you park at the TTC and then boat or monorail to the park. We will have an ECV with us. What is the best way to go with the ECV...the boat or Monorail???

Thanks!!

I don't use one, so I can't speak from personal experience. But the ferry has more "room" in that it's a big wide boat. The monorail is a like a train car. There are dedicated cars on the monorail for EVs and such if you wanted. The CM will lay a ramp down for you to enter/exit. The ferry is a bit tight as you go through the middle section, but the front and back are wide open (until people fill it up).

Truthfully, you should have no problem with either one. Try them both, they're fun in their own ways.

The boat has more options for ECV. The monorail they can only load the ECV into certain cars due to the need for a ramp at each stop so typically a monorail might only be able to take 3 or 4 ECVs at a time where the boat can take as many as will fit on the bottom.

I Say The Monorail, Bit more room.

my friend has an ECV and we take the monorail on there way there and boat on the way back I think the boat is easer as you do not have to wait for a CM to put down a ramp at all and if there is more ECV ahead of you then no waiting for the next one. the only down side is the boat is a little crowded so we either try to get up front ( you load on side and get off on the other) or we stay back and get off last but it really is no big deal as you just more with the crowds when getting off.

so I think boat, but both are easey boat is just easer IMHO

I use an ECV and prefer the monorail. It does only take 4 ECVs per train. Ferry is a better bet during the rush periods. We try to use both each trip.
