Parking for Cape May

We have a breakfast reservation at Cape May one day, I'd assume because we have the reservation, we will be able to park at Beach Club?
Is there a time limit to how long we can park there for our reservation? Our kids would love to check out the boardwalk after we eat. Is that allowed?

There is parking available at BC. You’ll just have to show your ADR to the parking attendant and you’ll be good for three hours of parking.

We eat at Ale and Compass several times each year (YC) and have always been able to park by showing our reservation at the gate. Sometimes when the lots are crowded we're directed to park at BC instead, so worst case I think they might have you park at YC and walk (less than 5 minutes, partly indoors). A few times we've walked over to Boardwalk to look in the shop or get ice cream with no problems; we've never tried to stay more than the 3 hour limit.
