Parking fees if moved to a DVC (moved by Disney prior to July 11)

Hello. Just wondering if one was moved from say POP to OKW, would they still get a parking fee charge to the room? If so, do you think it would be wize to ask for the Value parking fee Vs. the Deluxe parking fee?

Yes, you will have to pay a parking fee.

DVC members staying on points do not pay for parking, as annual dues cover it. Cash guests must pay.

Doesn’t hurt to ask if your parking rate can be adjusted since you were moved, but I wouldn’t count on it. I would be prepared to pay the deluxe fee. Because buildings are so small and you can park right by villa at OKW (not huge lots like at pop) parking really is much more convenient and an upgrade at OKW.

I'm pretty sure I saw someone on the rebooked resorts thread say that their room rate got adjusted lower by $10 per night to make up for the increased parking fee at the DVC resort. That was one person so my guess is the cast member they were talking to made an error. Everyone else that has mentioned it has said they were told they have to pay the increased parking fee. Doesn't hurt to ask but I wouldn't count on it.
