What is the fee for parking at DR? Any way to get free parking? thanks....dondiego

Not sure what the parking fee is, I think it might be about $8?? Parking is included in AAA hopper passes (which is why I have never had to pay for parking) and with the premium Annual Pass.

Stay at a hotel nearby that doesn't charge for parking.

Are you staying at one of the DL hotels? When I stayed at GC last October, they charged a "resort fee" (I think it was $6.75) which included parking, among other things. If not, my guess is around $7. Or, like the above poster mentioned, if you're staying at a nearby hotel, you could just walk or catch a shuttle and not worry about parking.

Oh they really try to make their money these days. When we stayed at DL Hotel this August they charged the resort fee, plus they charged for daily parking. I don't think there is a way to sneak around it if you stay on site. If you stay off-site, many hotels don't charge for it and are the same distance as the on-site hotels (some are closer).

thank you all for your help - we've not yet selected a hotel or purchased tickets and your input will be a factor in those selections - what a surprise to learn that some hotels are starting to charge for parking!! I stayed at a hotel once that charged for towels... oops...maybe I shouldn't give them any ideas! ...dondiego

Parking for the parks is $8--you can come and go out of the parking structure for this one price. If you stay at DL Hotel, Paradise Pier or Grand Californian, the parking is included in the resort fee of $6 which also includes health club, pools, etc. You can also move your car in and out of the lot for that price. You may actually leave your car in the hotel lot until midnite of the nite you check out and pay no extra fees.
