Parking Fee for Quick Visit to USF

We are going to spend 2 days and 1 night at USF/IOA. However, to maximize our time there, I would like to have our old tickets looked at to see what we have left for days, etc before our "official" visit.

Would they let me park for free just to spend some time walking down city walk and going to guest services to have our tickets evaluated?

I could go alone and just get down to business. Or I can bring my family and spend a couple of hours checking City Walk out.

I don't think so. Your best options would be to have someone drop you off near where the taxis and buses stop, or to arrive after 6pm when the parking fee drops to $3.
