Thinking (well HOPING:goodvibes) of going to US/IOA and staying onsite for FOTL. My question is, I know the resorts charge nightly for cars. If I was a passholder would I get a discount for parking at the resort? Trying to figure out the pros of having passholder with discounts at the parks also?

Thanks for all your help.

Since Universal does not own or operate the onsite hotels, there is no discount for parking at the resorts. As far as the parks go, you can usually bet on a discount of 10-15% off food and merchandise with either a Preferred or Premier AP. I think the Premier offers a little more discount while the Power Pass offers nothing in terms of park discounts.

and Preferred or Premier AP gets you free parking in the garage.

You get free parking at the garage but you can't leave your car there overnight, so staying onsite actually costs you $15 more/day than you would normally spend, even if you didn't count the cost of the hotel.
