Parking at the Port of Miami

Cruising out of Miami in November for the first time . Anyone have port parking recommendations ?

Disney uses terminal F at the port of Miami, and the parking structures are nearby. You can drop off passengers and luggage before going to the parking structure. 2 years ago it was $20 a day for cruise parking, but that may not be current. I don't have any experience with other parking areas in Miami, but I'm sure other posters will be able to help

Definitely use the port parking in Miami so you can come back to your car! I have used offsite parking at Port Canaveral with no worries but would not recommend in Miami. You may find a better bargain elsewhere but without the peace of mind. I also love that it is right there and you don't have to shuttle to get to your car.

In Miami, port parking only. I lived there, worked at the port and later downtown and have even tried off site parking. I would not do it again. Off site is FINE in Canaveral and risky in Miami.

All parking in downtown Miami is $$. If someone offers "a deal" there's a reason . . .

Agree w/ all other posters. Park at the port. It's the only safe option. Off site will only save you a few dollars. I researched and researched before parking in Miami and all things pointed toward port parking and I'm glad I did. Safe. Easy to get to the terminal and covered.
It's not worth the $5 you'll save to park anywhere else. Budget for it and you'll be fine.

Thanks for all of the responses. I totally agree with all of you . I lived North of Miami for 16 years and I totally get it. Another family we are traveling with wants to park off site to save a few dollars. However, I would rather pay the extra to be easy and safe.
