Parking at the Parks vs. Resort

We are checking into Copper Creek Villas tomorrow on a points reservation. We are going to DHS.

1) If DHS opens at 9, what time do they normally start letting cars park?
2) Since we are staying on a DVC points reservation, we can park for free at the parks before we check in, correct?
3) Would we possibly be able to get to DHS earlier if we parked at the resort early and took a bus? Do the buses still start running 90 minutes prior to park opening?

1. Normally 1 hour before the park opens.
2. Yes, they'll scan your magic band at the toll plaza.
3. Probably not. Buses usually run 1 hour before park opening, so you would get there around the same time. The Skyliner starts running about 15 minutes earlier, but there isn't a way to access that if you aren't staying at one of the resorts on it.
