parking at resorts

Is there a parking fee to park at Disney World Resorts???

If so, is there a drop off and pick up rental place in Downtown Disney or somewhere on the busline?

We are trying to decide whether or not to get a rental car.

No, parking is free at the resorts--the give you a parking permit when you check in that you just leave on your windshield. There is a fee for valet parking, but you can easily spare yourself that cost if you don't use it.

Parking is free. If you are staying at the Grand Floridian and don't use valet parking, it is a walk from the parking lot to the resort.
