Parking at resort

We are staying at Saratoga Springs before our cruise in October and riding the disney cruise bus from there to the port... will there be any problems with leaving my car parked at Saratoga Springs while we are on the cruise?

You just need to contact the resort and ask them. I've read that most resorts allow it (with prior arrangement), and that you may need to move your car to an area that isn't used for the guests actually onsite.

Some resorts apparently don't.

I would suggest you compare the DCL transport costs vs parking at the port to figure out which is a better choice.

How many people in you party? The bus costs $35 pp each way. It's an easy drive to the port. It may be worth it just to drive your car and park at the port. That way you can leave for the cruise when you want and make a stop at the store if you need to.

I agree with this, due to pressure on parking at WDW and security, vehicles cannot be left there, at all, on check in you give your registration number, thry give you a ticket to display in your window whilst there, and it has an end date, security patrol and will remove cars that do not have a ticket or its expired.

WDW has to be very hot on security.

We understand that it's a little cheaper to drive, but we have always wanted to ride in one of the buses that has the cruise portholes... I now that sounds silly. .. we will ask the resort next time we are over there we go a couple times a month.. if they say we can't leave our car there we will just have someone drive of to the resort and pick us up when we get back..
