Parking at Port of Galveston & Hotel

We leave out of Galveston in January. Someone said we have to have a reservation to park there. Is that right? Also does anyone have hotel recommendations near the port. Thanks

Some of the hotels used to let you pay to park during your cruise with a hotel stay. Can’t remember which though.

We are staying at Habour House. It is along the port. On the pricey side though . $211 with CAA discount.

We did reserve a spotS. It was easy and they did check. Right across the street from port. Port of Galveston parking so yes reserve.
Since you have a car, traffic is not bad. Just stay in Galveston and choose a hotel that fits your budget. It’s cold so don’t need pool, beach and such: we stayed at homewood suites.
